Add an Animated Header to Blogger

I was looking for a way to add the my animated Christmas Header (I've taken it down now, but I'll be making a new animated header soon) and I found a few tutorials on the subject, but just like with my earlier tutorial, How to Create a Simple Menu Bar in Blogger, No Coding Necessary, I found them to be unnecessarily complicated, so I came up with my own way.

Step 1. Go to your Blogger Account and to the "Edit HTML" section in your Layout. Find the following code. Just above the highlighted section, change "maxwidgets='1' to "maxwidgets='2' >and change "showaddelement='no' to "showaddelement='yes'

Step 2. Delete the highlighted section. That same section of code should now look like this.

Step 4. Now go to the Page Elements Section in your Layout. You will see that where the Header Gadget used to be, there is an "Add a Gadget" option.

Step 5. Click on "Add a Gadget" and choose "Picture". Upload the image you want to use as your header and type your blog's URL in the "Link" Section.

Click Save, and you're finished!
